Meet and Greet

I guess I'm not really sure how this blogging thing works but I should probably give it a shot.
I had a blast at the Meet and Greet, I didn't realize it was going to be as fun as it was. It was definitely unexpected how well and easily that I got along with my peer group and mentors. We just all seemed to click really well which helped ease a lot of the anxiousness.

  1. I agree with Devona! I am so happy that my mentors were really easy to get along with. And I cannot wait to get to know them better. It was wonderful getting to meet people. I can't wait for the next meeting!

  2. And I agree with both Sarah and Devona! My roommates and I didn't get to meet with our mentor Liz, but we talked to our other mentor Shelby and everything went really well. It was helpful to talk to a senior about classes and studying abroad since they've been through it and can give advice. Plus, I heard great things about the Sunday retreat! Overall it was a cool experience!

  3. I also agree with Devona, Sarah and Gia. I was excited to meet my mentors and it was a lot of fun just being able to hang out and get to know them. It was even more exciting that we all seem to get along so well and had so much to talk about right from the start. I had a lot of questions about college life in general, as did my roommates and it was nice to be able to talk about them freely with my roommates and mentors. The ice cream didn't hurt, either...
